Project: New build village/community hall
Client: Swale Borough Council
The scaffolding has come down on site and the fitting of the timber screen cladding is almost complete! To visit the new village hall’s website click here, the website contains further information on the building and a gallery containing the stages of construction.
The outward appearance of the building has been informed by the use of a meadow grass roof and the incorporation of diaphanous screen of timber rain-screen cladding. A large entrance porch looks to the west and the rest of the community and should compliment the main hall as a covered space for outdoor events and a place for keeping pushchairs and buggies. Two large light canons form signature markers for the building and will be visible from the various approaches to the building.
Visit our current projects tab for full details on the buildings specification.
