About: Hamsey is a parish which is in the district of Lewes in East Sussex. It’s location is three miles north of Lewes. The original village which is now abandoned apart, lay on an island in the River Ouse; the parish consists of the three villages of Hamsey with Offham and Cooksbridge being the main centres of population in the parish.
“The Hamsey Parish Council magazine is delivered quarterly and keeps all its readers up to date with local news, articles of community interest, planning, achievements, popular topics, local events, meeting clubs and groups”.
