RIBA – ROYAL INSTITUTE OF BRITISH ARCHITECTS
The Royal Institute of British Architects champions better buildings, communities and the environment through architecture and its members. RIBA provide the standards, training, support and recognition that its members – in the UK and overseas – at the peak of their profession.
ARB – ARCHITECTS REGISTRATION BOARD
ARB was established by Parliament in 1997 to regulate the architects’ profession in the UK. ARB are an independent, public interest body who regulate architects ensuring that good standards within the profession are consistently maintained for the benefit of the public and architects alike.
Constructionline is the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management service that collects, assesses and monitors standard company information through a question set that is aligned to PAS 91, the standardised pre-qualification questionnaire developed by BSI to reduce duplication within the construction industry.
FSB – FEDERATION OF SMALL BUSINESSES
As experts in business the FSB offer members a wide range of vital business services including advice, financial expertise, support and a powerful voice in government. The FSB’s mission is to help smaller businesses achieve their ambitions.
AECB – THE ASSOCIATION FOR ENVIRONMENT CONSCIOUS BUILDING
The AECB is a network of individuals and companies with a common aim of promoting sustainable building. It brings together builders, architects, designers, manufacturers, students, educators, housing associations and local authorities, to develop, share and promote best practice in environmentally sustainable building. The AECB pride themselves on their independence, relevance and practicality.
